The approach behind the trainings offered by TSSC is the result of many years of giving and taking training course. Trainings "out-of-the-box" are rarely adequate for the participants. The training needs to adapt to the experience of the participants, the setup and philosophy of the company they are working in and their practical challenges in that setup.
TSSC trainings therefore have a two or three stage approach:
- In a first meeting with the software, security or certification main stakeholders, the scope, audience, company setup is discussed.
- A tailored overview training for the topic is held, which presents the overall scope (e.g., for SW development following DO-178C)
- After the first session, a second session for dedicated focal points of interest for the participants is held to give more detailed and tailored information.
For some topics, e.g., Information Security (Part-IS) trainings, only the tailored first training is held, due to the scope of the content.
Training sessions are designed to facilitate exercises and discussions with participants.
Software Development Training
At least two training sessions are held, the first overview session spans two days and introduces, with tailored examples and scope, the basic concepts of DO-178C SW development.
